Get some inspiration to get outside, light the barbecues & cook up a feast! 01/12/16

If you haven’t yet heard of UK BBQ Mag, you’re missing out! With many great recipes in every issue, as well as some fantastic ideas from our demonstration chef Sue Stoneman. UK BBQ Mag will be sure to inspire you into the outdoor cooking lifestyle, you may even be tempted to get the covers of your barbecues, wrap up warm and cook up a winter feast. The latest issue is a winter special showing lots of recipes, ideas & discussions on how to get the barbecue buzz going all year round.

Our demonstration chef Sue who has recently started helping with the UK BBQ Mag comments below:

At Bigfire we get to try lots of fantastic tasty dishes, I am often cooking with our lovely outdoor ovens, be it in the Kamado Joe, wood fired oven or over the Kadai fire bowl. Everything from soups, stews, breads, roasts and even cakes! Bbq is for all year round and there are lots of different styles of cooking and smoking. There is a UK BBQ magazine which is a great on-line read whether you are new to Bbqing or you wish to find out more about curing, hot and cold smoking, cooking over open fires or reviews of great places to eat in the Winter Issue which is out now. It’s packed full of hints & tips for all types of outdoor cooking and is bursting with festive ideas for you to try. You can find two of my recent recipes within the magazine, one which was cooked on the Thuros Tabletop grill and also my delicious Devon Apple & Cider Cake. Why not sit down in the warm with a cup of tea and get your taste buds tingling.  It may inspire you to dust off your BBQ and light up your Bigfire this winter.
